Vincenzo Aiello is an Italian-Swiss director born December 10, 1986 in Geneva. He grew up in a family of Italian immigrants in the late 1980s.​

Before working in cinema, Vincenzo was a rare spice finder for gourmet chefs, a boxing coach and a social worker at the Geneva Red Cross.

With Childhood Memories, he offers a production focused on the construction of a permanent crescendo of tension in the service of a story dealing with the transition from childhood to adulthood seen through a horrific prism.
